Biden seizes the chance to make his next moves in the geopolitical chess match with China and Russia

Biden seizes the chance to make his next moves in the geopolitical chess match with China and Russia. He seeks more power in the Middle East. He looks for ways to help the developing world.

He allows, a little, that Obama has done his best. And what has Obama done? He has presented the domestic programs he promised before the election. Obama has done little, though, to make his case against the enemies that America faces, the evil he said needed to be crushed.

Obama has few long-range plans for combatting terrorism or Syria, Libya or Iraq. He's had trouble managing the shutdown crisis. He hasn't been able to hold foreign leaders to the terms of the deal that averted war.
